Xtreme recruiting at Fort Lauderdale kart track
August 13, 2007
Speeding
around a half-mile indoor asphalt track at up to 45 mph may
be purely pleasure for drivers. But it's serious business
for the Army.
Xtreme
Indoor Karting, on Powerline Road in Fort Lauderdale,
recently celebrated its official partnership with the U.S.
Army, which has identified extreme sports categories as an
effective means to recruit "Generation Y."
The partnership with Xtreme, which recently marked its first
year anniversary, includes the U.S. Army branding its
identity throughout the facility, such as "Army STRONG"
logos on karts, helmets, exterior signage and custom wall
graphic murals.
