Porte WINS LEAGUE VICTORY IN THE HEAVY WEIGHT & Morphius WINS LEAGUE VICTORY IN THE LIGHT WEIGHT:

 

Competition heats up in South Florida’s top Indoor Facility for Our Summer League on Thursdays!

 

On July 31^st 2008 we had week three of the Xtreme Summer Adult League with a great group of drivers. After a night of heated competition that included a 5-lap qualifying and a 50-lap main event because they changed the track this week. This new track proved to be competitive. In the Heavy weight series Porte came out on top of the heat to score the overall victory after holding off TGrits10 for the duration of the event & in the Light weight series Morphius came in first holding off Illusion for the duration of the event.

 

Qualifying was extremely competitive as Morphius held the fastest time. Illusion came up a little short to qualify second for the race. Following Illusion Eddie came up a little short to finish third. TGrits 10 followed in fourth and Jonathan Z finished qualifying in fifth. This qualifying session was very competitive with both weight classes racing combined to add competition.

 

During the race the light weight and heavy weight drivers raced together. Morphius, Illusion, and Eddie held their position the entire race, to finish First, Second, and Third. Disk Dish passed Porte, Jonathan Z, and TGrits 10 to finish fourth. Porte followed finishing in fifth. Illusion had the fast lap of 21.85 for the light weight series and Porte had the fast lap of 22.44 for the heavy weight series.
